Sundorne Castle Estate, Quinoa Farm
On Thursday 9th July, HCP’s Sandra Hey had an opportunity to learn about a developing UK crop when she was invited by quinoa grower, Stephen Jones, to visit a quinoa crop on the Sundorne Castle Estate in Shropshire.
The agronomy and crop protection regulatory challenges faced by growers of less established crops was discussed. It was a very interesting and informative visit.
